Born on January 7, 1944, in General Trias, Cavite, Philippines, Chito lived a life marked by dedication, quiet strength, and a deep love for his family and passions.
Chito proudly served in the U.S. Navy for an impressive 20 years and 10 days as a Mess Specialist. His service was a testament to his commitment and discipline, contributing to the well-being of his fellow servicemen during his time in the military. His naval career brought him to the United States, where he built a life filled with purpose and love.
Chito found joy in simple yet meaningful pursuits. He had a passion for gardening and took pride in cultivating collections of fire sticks and orchids that reflected his patience and care. Fishing provided him with moments of peace and connection to nature. He also enjoyed engaging his mind with crosswords, solitaire, sudoku puzzles, and word searches activities that showcased his sharp intellect and love for quiet reflection.
