

Daniel served in the Cuban army at the age of 18 and sensing the political climate changing moved to the United States in 1955 after he completed his service. At the age of 22 Daniel moved to Brooklyn New York with little money and as a foreigner to this county. He quickly found work and settled into attaining the American Dream.
After having lived in various places throughout the United States including New York, and Chicago Daniel had his first daughter Nerta Diaz in 1963 and settled in Los Angleles CA for a number of years. In 1970 Daniel Married Josefina Rucobo and they had two children, Dwain Oramas and Lodia Oramas.
Daniel traveled and lived throughout the United States working in the restaurant business. He has lived in Miami, Northern California, San Francisco and in 1983 moved his family to San Diego CA.
Shortly after his move to San Diego Daniel pursued his dream of attaining his Real Estate license and began working in the Real Estate Industry.
Daniels loves included traveling, reading, learning about different cultures, food, and socializing. He leaves behind a legacy of deep faith, love, great compassion and generosity, hard work, humor and a bigger than life laugh and personality.
Daniel passed on Saturday April 26th at 7:30 am at home surrounded by family. He is survived by his brother Ricardo Oramas who is in Cuba, his wife Josefina Oramas, his son Dwain Oramas, His daughter Lodia Ruiz, son in law Carlos Ruiz and his grandchildren Martin Tasis, Ofelia Machado, Shaylene Oramas, Sholana Oramas, Jordan Ruiz and Nicholas Ruiz.
