Delia “Lina” Zabala, 71, of San Diego, CA passed away on 18 October 2024, in Chula Vista, surrounded by her loving family after a long-fought and courageous battle with cancer. Lina was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1953 to Delia Elda and Juan Carlos Felice (senior). She attended school, worked and lived in Buenos Aires until she emigrated to San Diego in 1984. She was an exemplary and devoted mother, grandmother, wife, and friend - known to all for her extraordinary warmth and kindness, generosity, service to others and her unwavering love to all. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Carlos; her children Marcela and Sergio; grandchildren Gabriel, Sebastian and Sofia; mother Delia Elda and brothers Jose Angel and Juan Carlos (junior). Lina, who touched so many hearts and impacted those around her throughout her life, will be deeply missed but forever live in our hearts. A memorial service for Lina will be held on Monday, 25 November 2025 at 4pm at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 4011 Ohio St, San Diego, Ca 92104.
