Denis T Conforth was born in Chula Vista on October 10, 1947 and passed away on June 25, 2018. Denis lived all but the past 6 months in Chula Vista. He graduated from Chula Vista High School and attended Southwestern and San Diego State Colleges. Denis joined the Army and went to Vietnam in 1967...getting home in 1969. Denis was an Author of Adams Apple, an avid reader and collector of over 300 books, a Pony League Umpire, and a singer and listener of many types of music...especially Rock & Roll. Denis loved Coronado Beach, playing baseball and basketball and going to El Indio for tacos with his friends.
Denis was a member of AA and sober for 20 years. Several friends and family were very proud of him. Denis is survived by his sister Janet Warren and brother Doug, nephews Henry and Jerry Sintay, Dylan Conforth and niece Stephanie Geiss. He was preceded in death by parents Jack and Phyllis Conforth and brother James.
