Dennis moved to San Diego in 1959 when he joined the Navy. He developed a passion for sailing, which he shared with his brother Ron, and spent the better part of his life on the San Diego bay and sea! Some of his most cherished memories were his time spent with family and friends at the Coronado Yacht Club, sailing on his boat, and participating in regattas and beer can races. Dennis was most often described as a kindhearted, generous man.
For those of us lucky enough to have known Dennis, it’s truly a profound loss. He will be deeply missed. Dennis is survived by his wife Ladonna, his children, stepchildren and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be scheduled for the summer of 2021.
