I would like to express my sympathies for your loss. I didn't know Diego well but I served along side him in the US Border Patrol. We worked at different stations but met up a couple of times on detail many years ago. He was always a class act and all these years later I still remember his sense of humor.

Diego,
You were one of the sweetest, most generous souls I have ever met. Your selflessness and pure human kindness for others was never unnoticed. For 30 years I have had the honor of having you in my life, not only as one of my best friends, but as family. You were like a brother to me. I will never forget your thoughtfulness and how much you were there for me without even having to ask you. My heart aches and I will miss you unexplainably. My entire family is grieving this great loss. We will miss you brother. God is waiting for you. Love you.
