Dolores "Lola" Santos

She was born in San Diego, CA on August 21, 1949 to parents, Raymond and Rosa Sablan. Lola attended school in Chula Vista and graduated from Castle Park High School in 1967.

She eventually moved to Santa Monica, CA and built a wonderful life for herself for over 20 years. It was there that she met the love of her life, Joe. They went on to marry on July 27, 1985 in Palos Verdes, CA. Lola enjoyed researching and connecting through the Guam and Pacific Islander communities. She loved to travel, she kept in touch with lifelong friends, and most importantly, she loved her family with everything she had.

Lola is survived by her husband, Joseph L. Santos; her son, Thomas Santos and wife, Christine; her daughter Sonja Santos; granddaughters, Simone and Maya Santos who loved her as Nana; and her brother Tommy Sablan. She is loved by many nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Lola is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Rosa Sablan; her brothers, Ray and Frank Sablan; her sisters, Rose Navarro and Barbara Sablan, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at Glen Abbey Mortuary, Magnolia Room, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902, US, on June 5, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A Reception will follow at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902, US, on June 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

A Committal Service will take place at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902, US, on June 5, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
