My inang took care of me when I had school breaks during my time in elementary school. My earliest memories with Inang is bringing her to the seafood city with my mom and being taken care of at her house in carefree, just me and my inang until I was 10 years old. 
My Tita bot would be at work and I would be alone with her from 8am-3pm. Yes I was stuck with a 90 year old who barely knew how to speak English for almost 8 hours.
But luckily enough I understood her when she spoke Tagalog to me. We both understood each other very well.
During the days she took care of me
We were actually taking care of each other.
Although I was really young I had a strong instinct I also had to look over her because she was 90 at the time and I knew I also had to check up on her every now and then. 
We would watch TFC and she would feed me breakfast, lunch, and dinner
I miss her cooking so much.
Her smile, her laugh, and her voice. 
The last years with inang were kinda rough for me. There was a time I visited her she was starting to forget who we were and who we belonged to. She slowly started to forget my name and my heart broke. Then she slowly started to forget every one else name in the family. 
I know she is up there in heaven looking upon us right now having clarity of all of our names  and I am happy to say that we all got to cherish these moments with inang and have her around for a long time. 
I am blessed and grateful every day because of my inang.

It will be impossible to remember my childhood days not mentioning the beautiful memories Nanay "Tiyang" Ingga  had etched in my heart. She was a very loving, caring yet strict to us her nephews each year we came at her house house in Calapandayan, Subic, Zambales. Those were the days I get to bond with my first cousins Kuya Orly Molina, Art Molina my tucayo and Ollan Capulong. Sad to say the former and the latter were both taken by the Creator in their very early life. Oh how I missed them! I remember all her sumptuous home cooking. Fried Sabalo being one of my favorites besides the Sinigang version of the Fish. Nanay Ingga loved to send me to the nearby sari sari store and I looked forward to those errands. Because whatever left over change will always be mine.  As a youg boy, even the smallest change from Nanay Ingga or to my female cousins such as Ate Nene and Ate Bot were so dear to me. Meaning when it is time for me to go home, I had some pocket money to bring with me already. Parting time was always sad occurrences to me. Nanay Ingga will always tell me to go upstairs and see Ate Nene and Ate Bot because she knew I will get extra pocket money from my cousins. She will tell me also to go to Kuya Fred and Ate Julie at the next house because they too are too generous to their younger cousins and relatives vacationing with them.  Those are the little but so unforgettable moments I will forever cherish in my life. Nanay Ingga may have been rested now from all her pains and labor but her memory she leaves behind will forever be in everyone's heart who have had the opportunity to know her especially to all her loved ones, relatives, and family friends.  Nanay Ingga farewell and rest in peace!

Thank you Inang for your warmth welcome and opening your home to us whenever we visit San Diego. Your kind heart and hospitality are unparalleled. I will miss your words "Si Rodel ba iyan". Our hearts were overjoyed when you said "Kumain na ba kayo? Bot pakainin mo sila?  Dito na lang kayo tumira at bakit pa kayo babalik sa Pilipinas". Definitely, we will miss you and thank you for accepting us as part your Family. Rest in Peace now in the Almighty God's garden and may the angels welcome you with songs and music.
