Donna Flint of Chula Vista passed away peacefully on April 3, 2013. Donna graduated from Chula Vista High in 1958 and from the University of California, Berkeley in 1963 with a major in political science. She later worked for the U.S. State Department in Washington D.C. and for the county of San Diego. Donna was a gifted pianist. She is survived by her sister, Frances Flint (Len Turk) of Adelaide, South Australia; Frances’ children Sarah Turk of New York and Nathan Turk of Adelaide; niece Romy Flint Zunkeler (Martin) of Los Angeles; nephew Mark Flint (Kristi) of Chula Vista, and her sister-in-law Diane Flint Wages of Chula Vista. Visitation will be held at the Little Chapel of the Roses at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, Bonita from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on April 11 and the funeral will be held at the Glen Abbey Mortuary Chapel on April 12 at 2:00 p.m. Donna was much loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
