He served at a secondary school in Korea for 45 years and then achieved his Doctorate in Education in 1970 at the University of Tulsa.
He was a faithful man serving his church as an Elder for his whole lifetime. He enjoyed golfing, achieving 2 hole in ones, with voracious passions for reading and continuing education. His book collection is over 10,000 and he spoke more than 4 languages..
He enjoyed the company of his church congregation often spending his Sundays telling jokes and volunteering with small groups.
He is survived by his 2 daughters, Shine Lee and Sin-un Lee, 3 grandchildren, Hoil Suh, Jaeho Lee, and Jaewon Lee, and 2 great grandchildren, Andy & June Suh.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Keum-Ju Lee.
