Eduardo “Eddie” Alvarado was born on November 16, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois, to Juan and Angela Alvarado. Passing peacefully August 21, 2026 in Temecula, California. He is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Angela and his sister Ana.
Eddie was a loving father to his children, Antonio “Tony” and Miriah Alvarado, and a devoted stepfather to Joshua and Jared Kelley. He was a beloved brother to Jose, Ana, and Ramon Alvarado, uncle to Jay Alvarado, and a friend to many.
Eddie shared a special love of sports and movies with his son Tony, as well as his brothers Jose and Ramon. Some of his favorite memories were made cheering on the Chicago Bears, watching superhero movies, and simply spending time with the people he loved.
Eddie had a big heart and loved bringing people together. He was the number one Girl Scout cookie seller, proud supporter of Tony’s football career, and the neighborhood block party host. He was always willing to help and make sure everyone felt welcomed.
For 35 years, Eddie was part of the Costco family, where he made lifelong friendships and shared countless laughs—including plenty of his famously not-so-funny dad jokes.
Eddie will be remembered for his love of family, his sense of humor, and the joy he brought to those around him. His laughter, stories, and memories will live on in everyone who knew and loved him.
Rest in peace, Eddie. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
