Eileen Eleanor White

Eileen Eleanor White, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and one strong willed woman. On Saturday November 28th she passed away at 1:25 am in her home. She lived to see her 85th Birthday and made it to her favorite holiday Thanksgiving.

She came from Tawas City Michigan as a child with her sister Marilyn, and built a life in San Diego California. In California she went to school and worked at the movie theater. After graduating from Sweetwater High School she got a job at the telephone company, got married and began to build a family and make roots in San Diego. She was a bowler, a crafter, and lover of antiques and auctions. She threw memorable parties and made holidays special. She was a fashionista, a world traveler, a shopper, and loved to dance.

Eileen daughter to Genieve Brooks, Joe Kerziske & Jack Brooks. Sister to Marilyn Nye and David Brooks. Sister in law to Richard Nye. Wife of Robert McKinnon. Mother to Colleen Gustavson and Kenneth McKinnon. Grandmother to Vanessa Gustavson. Aunt to Cynthia Tanner, Steven Nye, and Daniel Nye. Best friend to Joann Peterson for over 73 years.

The care givers Nurse Next Door and hospice nurses provided her with the best comfort and care.
