

Emeterio Molina was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Emeterio will be remembered as a very exceptional person. Emeterio’s life journey began on February 12, 1920. He first greeted the world in the Philippines. He was the son of Ambrocio and Antonia Molina. Growing up in Philippines, Emeterio was raised with eight siblings. He had three brothers, Macias, Santos, German, and five sisters, Regina, Maria, Faustina, Catalina and Eulalia. Emeterio was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings, sharing many life experiences over the years. Falling in love is a huge milestone for any person. Just knowing that you have met that special someone is a magical feeling. Emeterio experienced that with Leonida Agpalo and the couple exchanged wedding vows on September 1, 1982 in the Philippines. Empathic and loyal, Emeterio was committed to making his family happy. Emeterio worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Emeterio was blessed with six children, three sons, Prudencio, Dominador, Salvador Ruben and three daughters, Lolita Lucille, Darilyn Valerie and Terrilyn Anne. Fortunately, Emeterio enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Emeterio worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. He was employed for 22 years by the Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor Pacific Maritime Association. Emeterio always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done. Emeterio enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were fishing, gardening, and reading his Bible. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share his interests with others. Emeterio left us on December 2, 2011. He was 91 years old. He is survived by Leonida Molina (Wife); Prudencio Molina (Son) of Grand Terrace, CA; Lolita Zimmer (Daughter) of Phoenix, AZ; Rev. Darilyn Bemis (Daughter) of Big Spring, TX; Terrilyn Salazar (Daughter) of Glendale, AZ; Santos Molina (Brother) of Hawaii; Macias Molina (Brother) of the Philippines; Regina Bahia (Sister) of the Philippines; 19 grandchildren (CA,AZ, TX, TN, HI, MN, and Washington DC/Virginia); and 29 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death: (1) great-grandson, Anthony James Diaz. Services were handled by Glen Abbey Mortuary. A funeral service was held at Glen Abbey Mortuary Chapel in Bonita, California, on December 12, 2011. Emeterio was laid to rest in Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California. Simply stated, Emeterio was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Emeterio leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Emeterio Molina.
