

Enrico Hernandez ESPIRITU was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Enrico will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
Enrico was born on December 11, 1951 at PHILIPPINES in BACOOR, CAVITE. He was the son of DOMINGO & VALENCIANA ESPIRITU. Enrico grew up in BACOOR, CAVITE.
Enrico was raised with 9. He had 3 OLDER SIBLINGS, FREDERICO, EMILITA, ERNESTO FOLLOWED BY 6 YOUNGER SIBLINGS DELIA, DANTE, ERLINDA, VIVIAN, OSCAR AND DOMINGO JR. Enrico was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. He and his siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
A typical teenager, Enrico had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. He graduated from ST. MICHAEL'S HIGH SCHOOL in 1969. He enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers.
Always considered a “good” friend to those he knew, Enrico enjoyed a broad group of acquaintances and several very close friends during his lifetime. ENRICO'S BESTFRIENDS INCLUDE GEORGE & PRECY, TONY & LULU, OBET & GRACE,AND MANNY & CECILLE.
On August 2, 1977 Enrico exchanged wedding vows with MARIA TERESA CRUZ FERRER at PHILIPPINES of PARANAQUE CITY. Empathic and loyal, Enrico was committed to making his new family happy.
Enrico worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Enrico was blessed with THREE KIDS; TWO SONS, MARC & JEFFREY, AND ONE DAUGHTER, STEPHANIE. Another blessing for Enrico was the gift of TWO GRANDCHILDREN, NOAH MASON & CAMILA ASHLEY.
Fortunately, Enrico enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Enrico worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was AN ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN. He was employed for 20 YEARS IN THE NAVY & 20 YEARS IN THE POST OFFICE. Enrico always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Enrico was a NAVY VETERAN. Through his hard work, he achieved the rank of CHIEF PETTY OFFICER. His fellow soldiers viewed him as a brother in arms and knew that he was as much a part of their family as their loved ones back home.
Enrico enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were FISHING & GOING TO THE CASINO. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share his interests with others.
Enrico was a man who took pride in upholding his beliefs. POLITICALLY, ENRICO WAS A SUPPORTER OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.
Enrico’s faith was important to him. He was a parishoner of St. Charle's.
Enrico enjoyed traveling and time away on vacations. It was a chance for him to renew and relax, to visit new places and experience new things. Favorite vacations included traveling back to the Philippines.
Enrico was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. One of his favorites was Khloe, a Bichon Frise/Shih Tsu mix. They were best friends for 8years.
When Enrico’s retirement finally arrived in 2014, he was well prepared. San Diego. In retirement, he found new pleasure in playing casino & traveling. Even in retirement, Enrico continued to stay in touch with his old friends while making plenty of new acquaintances. Enrico was active in his new community and felt fulfilled with the opportunities retirement offered him.
Enrico passed away on April 1, 2018 at His home. He is survived by his wife, Tess; children, Marc (His wife Kathy), Jeff, & Steph; his grandchildren, Noah & Mila; his siblings and mother. Services were held at Glenn Abbey & St. Charle's Church. Enrico was laid to rest in Mira Mar National Cemetary in California.
Simply stated, Enrico was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Enrico leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Enrico Hernandez ESPIRITU.
