

Erlinda Acebedo Aquino was born on February 5, 1957 to Julian Aquino Sr., and Serafina Aquino. She was raised in Olongapo City, Philippines with eight siblings, (brother) Eduardo Aquino, (sister) Carmelita Leomo, (brother) Julian Aquino Jr., (brother) Peterson Aquino, (brother) Freddie Aquino; (sister) Josephine Bugaoisan; (sister) Felicitacion Torion and (brother) Jolebelle Aquino. She attended Palauig High School and graduated in 1973.
Erlinda was blessed with six children, Jennifer Dizon, Jill Topacio, Andrea Nera, Mark Anthony Albayalde, Eric Albayalde and Laila Mae Albayalde. Later in life she received the joy of having three grandchildren; Jarill Almario, Richill Almario, Hailey Mei Albayalde. One of Erlinda’s greatest accomplishments was being a single mother who raisied her children showing them plenty of love, discipline, good morals and values with the help of her brothers and sister in laws.
During times of leisure, Erlinda enjoyed going shopping with her daughters, collecting figurines such as vases, angels and other souvenirs, cleaning her home and watching her favorite Filipino soap operas.
Erlinda left us on January 31, 2012 at the age of 54. She passed away in the comfort of her home after battling cervical cancer. She is survived by her children: Jennifer Dizon, Jill Topacio, Andrea Nera, Mark Anthony Albayalde, Eric Albayalde, and Laila Mae Albayalde, and her three grandchildren: Jarill Almario, Richill Almario and Hailey Mei Albayalde. Services were handled by Glen Abbey Mortuary. A Funeral service was held at Glen Abbey Mortuary Chapel on Saturday, February 11, 2012. Erlinda Acebedo Aquino was later laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
