Erlinda was born of Mel G. and Juanita A. Pangilinan, and was the eldest of ten siblings. She fell in love with and married Bill Sanderson, and fostered Buttons, Curly, Coco, and Maro, as well as a lush, backyard garden.
Teacher, Best Friend, and Zumba athlete, Erlinda was popular for her inclination to help others, her sharp insight, and the amount of loving resourcefulness she has gathered and spread just purely being around, what with her humor, conversation, and company.
Linda was a devout Catholic and servant of God.
She has left international footprints, from The Holy Land, to Europe, to Australia, and will certainly have a prayer, memory, and fridge magnet to match.
Ate was not only the base of the 10-strong Pangilinan spine, she was the always-prepared, always-responsive, always-forgiving, and the always-ideal definition of what an Ate is and has ever been. Mommy Ate was an incredible chef, gardener, Thanksgiving host, and loving aunt, who exhibited her resilience and intentions to help and better others.
Given that Mommy Ate would otherwise be rather upset if we, the mourning, drown in our own tears before her advice is fulfilled and her life honored, it is clear that she intentionally left intangible pieces of gold, in the form of love and memories.
Because Mommy Ate would rather have us safe than sorry, the family kindly insists upon social distancing and face masks during your gentle visitation to Glen Abbey’s Little Chapel of Roses, on July 27, 2020 at 6 PM, and July 28, 2020 at 11 AM.
The rite of committal service will be on July 28, 2020 at 1 PM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
