Felix B Sevidal

He was born on June 23, 1941, in San Fabian, Pangasinan, Philippines, to Gregorio Sevidal Sr. (Lolo Gorio) and Nicolasa Bautista Sevidal (Lola Sasang).

On November 17, 1962, Felix graduated from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce. He earned his CPA license from the Republic of the Philippines Board of Accountancy on December 4, 1964.

Felix immigrated to the United States in the late 1960’s, first landing in San Francisco, CA, before settling in San Diego, CA, where he lived ever since.

In his career, Felix served as Controller for a San Diego real estate developer, as well as for C&F Holdings Inc. (also known as the Lita and Lex household).

Early in his adult life, Felix loved to play tennis and golf. Later in life, he loved to play host for family and friends who visited San Diego — making breakfast for them, taking them to National City for Filipino food, and sharing what is so often remembered as “pasyal-pasyal with Tito Lex” around San Diego. He will be remembered for his jolly smile, his generous heart, his love of food, his love/hate relationship with San Diego professional sports teams and most of all, his love of family, both immediate and extended.

Felix is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carmelita Sevidal; his daughters and son-in-law, Samantha Sevidal, Serena Sevidal Flitcraft, and Brian Hamilton Flitcraft; as well as his brother, Eugenio Bautista Sevidal. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio Sevidal and Nicolasa Bautista Sevidal, and siblings Gregorio B. Sevidal Jr., Reuben B. Sevidal, Genaro B. Sevidal, Annunciation S. Zumudio, Linda B. Sevidal, and Alberto B. Sevidal.

Visitation will be held in the Chapel of the Roses at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902, on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church 7710 El Cajon Blvd, La Mesa, CA 91942, on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 10 a.m., followed by burial and a lunch reception at Glen Abbey Memorial Park. All are welcome to attend to pay their respects and support the family. To honor Felix’s cheerful spirit, please wear cheerful tones rather than dark colors.

The family of Felix would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses who cared for him in his final hours. Their kindness and compassion were felt deeply and helped support us through a very difficult time.
