Francisco was raised with five siblings. He had sisters, Dolores, Natividad, Constancia, Pacencia and Felisa. Francisco was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. He and his siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
A typical teenager, Francisco had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. He graduated from Cebu City Provincial High School in 1937. He enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers.
Francisco enjoyed his college years as well, which may have been a challenge with all of the academics, responsibilities, and the sudden freedom that accompanied them, but Francisco was able to manage the balancing act. He earned his degree from University of the Visayas- Education Teacher's College in 1939.
On November 8, 1947 Francisco exchanged wedding vows with Mona Lisa Palicte Margaja in Tuburan, Cebu, Philippines. Empathic and loyal, Francisco was committed to making his new family happy.
Francisco worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Francisco was blessed with five children, two daughters, Florabelle and Eva, and three sons, Danilo, Dennis, and Juan Guido.
Fortunately, Francisco enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Francisco worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was as a Provincial Music Supervisor. He was employed for a total of forty years in music education. Francisco always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Francisco achieved many goals throughout his lifetime. He was a wonderful choir conductor, dance choreographer, artist, teacher, educator, mentor, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
