In the presence of family, Francisco Yañez Camacho passed away at the age of 93 at his home on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025. He was born on January 20th, 1932, in Guasave, Sinaloa to Tranquilino Yañez and Magdalena Camacho. Francisco met the love of his life, Martha Lydia Castillo. They married on September 26th, 1956 and had two sons. Known to many as "Pancho", he was best known as "Grandpa" to his grandchildren, and "Poco" to his three great-grandchildren. Francisco dedicated his life to caring for his granddaughters as if they were his own.
During his time on earth, he enjoyed camping with family, cooking traditional Mexican dishes, and reading the morning newspaper. He was a die hard Raiders and Angels fan, and you could always find him watching anything sports.
While his absence leaves an unfillable void, his family takes comfort in knowing that he has been reunited with his wife, Martha, siblings, Maria del Socorro Castillo, Jesus Yañez and Ramon Yañez, and others he has lost along the way.
