It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Gabe who left us unexpectedly at the age of 41. He was born in Tacoma, WA but spent the majority of his childhood in
Niceville, FL, before returning to San Diego, CA, where he resided for the past 20 plus years. Gabe lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with passion and courage. He was a true adventurer who loved exploring new places with an open heart and a curious spirit. Gabe had many passions, he was an avid golfer, surfer, fisherman and enjoyed giving any sport a try. As a skilled boat captain, he found both purpose and peace on water, where he felt
at home. Wherever he went and whoever he met, he left a lasting impression-his laughter, kindness, and free-spirited nature drew people in and made them feel loved and like family. Above all Gabe, was a loving son, brother, uncle, and partner whose presence
brought immeasurable joy to each of our lives. He will be remembered for his fearless spirit, generous heart, and the way he inspired others to live boldly and authentically. Gabe is survived by his father Jorge L. Morales, stepmother Wanda L. Costin-Morales, brother Jorge A. Morales, sister Yuliana R. Morales, and life partner Laura Alessio as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Rosario
G. Salazar Morales. Gabe will be deeply missed by his family in the USA and Mexico as well as all who knew and loved him.
A visitation service will be held on April 11, 2026 at 1:00p.m, with funeral following at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Roses, Glen
Abbey Memorial Park , Bonita, CA. There will be a graveside service at 3:30 p.m. where he will be laid to rest with his mother.
“Gabriel, descansa en paz. Tu luz no se apaga, vivirá en nuestros corazónes por siempre, te amamos.”
