Gregoria T. Magadia

Gregoria T. Magadia was born on March 16, 1920 in Laguna, Philippines. She was the daughter of Angel Tacderan and Alejandra Z. Unson. Gregoria was raised in Laguna, Philippines with four siblings named Ricardo, Pacita, Alfredo and Adelio.

On January 25, 1946 Gregoria exchanged wedding vows with her sweetheart Victor A. Magadia in Laguna, Philippines. Showing empathy and loyalty to each other, Gregoria and Victor shared many happy, loving years of marriage.

Gregoria worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Gregoria was blessed with five children, four daughters, Estrelita, Myrna, Marilu and Memor, and one son Victor.

Sadly, Gregoria passed away on February 20, 2011 in the comfort of her home in San Diego, California due to reaching the late stages of Alzheimer's. She is survived by her loving children Estrelita, Myrna, Marilu, Memor, and Victor; as well as many other family members and friends. Services were held at St. Charles Catholic Church on February 26, 2011. Gregoria was laid to rest in Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.

Gregoria was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, auntie, great grandmother and matriarch of her family. Gregoria leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Gregoria T. Magadia.
