Isaac David Perez, 46, passed away on September 11, 2026. Born on May 16, 1980, Isaac lived in San Diego, California. He will be remembered with deep respect for the steady strength he carried through life, and for the warmth he brought to those around him through simple, meaningful acts of care and generosity.
Isaac graduated from Southwest High School, Class of 1998, a milestone that reflected the diligence and determination that shaped the years that followed. He met life with quiet courage and an enduring sense of faith, and he balanced responsibility with a welcome sense of humor that could ease a moment and bring people together.
A kind-hearted and devoted father, Isaac is survived by his son, Isaiah Perez. He is also survived by his mother, Maria Elena Perez-Benavides, and his siblings, Monica Barzal, Gina Camberos, Jaime Perez, and Jovana Perez.
Isaac found joy in the everyday—especially in the things that invited people to gather and feel at home. He loved Reggae and Rap/Hip Hop music, and he was a dedicated football fan, proudly cheering on the San Diego Chargers. He also loved to garden and working outdoors with his hands, a reflection of his hard-working spirit and the satisfaction he took in honest effort. Time spent BBQing and enjoying bonfires was among his favorite ways to share conversation, laughter, and companionship.
Isaac’s presence—steadfast, brave, and generous—will be deeply missed, and his memory will be carried forward by all who knew and loved him.
