Im still so very saddened by Jan’s passing. I’m sure you so miss her so. Please take comfort in all the joy she spread through her world and beyond with her artistry at work forever more. She also reached so many with her quick wit and gorgeous smile that always shined bright from her true self. I consider myself one of the lucky wins that travelled together with her on life’s journey both good and also at times very trying. But she always looked toward the light. God bless her as she travels still amongst our Universe for all time!

I was a fellow Disney art dealer from many many many years ago. I worked with Jan on a daily basis for a number of years sharing stories, complaints and the joys of dealing in Disney art. I can think of no other person who was more honourable than Jan and a pleasure to work with.   She was honest, she had integrity, and she was always so optimistic. Absolutely one of my favourite people to work with in my 40 year history of dealing in art. She will be sorely missed.God rest her soul.RIP

I met you through Mickey at Crack in the Wall when you both and your mom went to Picture framing conventions in Vegas. You were always so sweet to us and came by the shop.  R I P my dear and blessings to your family.

The saying 'Life is too short' is certainly true in Jan's case. My deepest sympathy goes to Alex, Karac, Brandon, Andrew, Marie & all the family.
I only got to visit you all in San Diego once for Auntie Margaret's 80th in 2014, but spent 2 wonderful weeks with you and have lots of happy memories from my trip.

I am struggling to find words to say how sad I am since your passing. Jan you were a cousin and friend and although we were so far apart we were close, born not even 2 months apart, so very close in age too.
We had the best holidays ever when we came to visit,in Vegas  the desert and lakes etc, you were a fantastic host and Gill and I even spent our honeymoon with you all.
You will be very sadly missed.

Beautiful Jan, I’m still in shock, so many good memories! You came all the way to England with the 3 wonderful men of your life,  to be at my wedding. You were there for me when I emigrated from England  to Canada, you were there for me when my marriage fell apart, you were there for so much: I envision you are now raising a glass with your Mum and my grandma. I bought several Disney ornaments at her shop in Downtown Chula Vista and Jan also made me a beautiful picture frame.  She was always cheerful and nice to all her customers.   I remember her mentioning that she was born the same day Marilyn Monroe died.   I have fond memories of her and her mom.
Jan, you are truly missed and I bet you rode your bike through the pearly gates.  Rest in peace my friend.  Gone too soon....

Jan was one of the Sweetest, Nicest, Craziest people it has been my pleasure to know. Our world is not as Bright without her.  Jan was my Go To for framing and we Always had a Great time just hanging and talking. I will truly miss seeing her.  My sincerest condolences to all her family.

You probably don’t remember me much. Your mother helped me in the flower shop when I moved  my shop to downtown Chula Vista. 
I want you to know that your mother was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met.  She was full of joy , always smiling and joking. 
And she was very proud of both of you.
I want you to know that your mom is an Angel that will always be watching over you. Because she’s for sure in heaven .

So many memories of such a lovely friend. Grateful to have been able to spend a  little time together a year ago last Christmas. Even though my family moved from the San Diego area years ago, Jan's friendship was always there. I will never ever forget you, Jan. I once read on the side of a Starbucks coffee cup: "Life is a school for angels. Death is merely graduation." Jan, you are the brightest and sweetest angel and you did life right. You were so good and so true that you graduated way ahead of your class. I will always love you. I will always keep you close to my heart. May your precious memory be eternal. Spread those wings, Sweet Friend.

I used to sleep over a lot at the Cano’s house many weekend throughout my childhood because I grew up with Brandon and Karac and we have been best friends since first grade. Mrs Jan was always so sweet and genuine with me, she was always like a second mom and even tho I lost connection with the twins for a couple of years after I moved to Arizona, Jan always made an effort to check up on me and wish me a happy birthday and I’ll never forget that. I’ll forever be grateful for Jan treating me like one of her own.

Jan was amazing and beautiful person, always so friendly with all the new  associates at Macy's. Every time I would come in to work she would smile and say "hello sweetie, how's it going?". She always new if you were having a bad day and need to talk.
She was so kind with everyone. She always made everyone feel loved. 
I will miss you so muchmy friend ❤️ and you will always have a special place in my heart.

I met Jan at Otay ranch Macy’s , what a woman . I’ll miss everything and every conversation we’ve had . Thank you for being you Jan love you and gonna miss ya . Till we meet again . Nicole 

Sending my deepest condolences to Jan's husband, children and extended family. She was one of my favorite people to work with at Macy's. She could always make you smile, no matter how bad your day was. Away from work, she was a blast to go out with. I enjoyed some fun times at Murietta's (among other places) with Jan! Her smile will be missed but certainly never forgotten by so many that she crossed paths with.

My greatest memory of Jan is the first year she took me to the Nine Girls Ask for a Cure benefit and I got carried away with bidding on the gift baskets and ended up winning like 20 baskets. At the end, Jan, her friend Penny and I had to try to figure out how to fit all of our baskets, which had to be like 25 combined, into my small car. She had baskets stacked on her lap and all over the car. We laughed so hard, we were crying and almost peed ourselves. We always had the best talks and she always knew what to say. I loved her hugs and how positive she always was. I miss you so much Jan. Sending my thoughts and prayers to her husband, her kids and her whole family. She was a beautiful rare gem!

I worked with Jan for many years at Macy's and we all loved her so much. She was always brightening my day with her positive attitude and making me laugh.  When we came back to work after being furloughed due to Covid, I playfully told her she shouldn't "touchy touchy" my register or my supplies. After that, she would always come up to me and say "touchy touchy!" I will most certainly miss her smile and all her stories about her vacations/travels. 

Jan, I was dreading our 30 year High School reunion. But when I got there, you were the first person I greeted & you instantly made it a fun evening. I will cherish you, Patsy & I sitting together & laughing at everything.  I will forever miss your smile & wit, dear friend. Till we meet again, Julie.
