Jane Louise Young

Jane Louise Young, age 86, of Chula Vista, California passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022. Jane was born November 3,1935. She was the devoted wife of Russel Young and loving mother of Adrian Pat Young.

Jane was born and raised in Philadelphia. In her younger years, Jane Loved to go shopping for clothes at the mall and riding the subway. Even at a young age, she had a strong work ethic. Jane worked very hard, cleaning street lamps with her mother.

In 1973, Jane and Russel Young moved from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to California. Jane worked on F-14 and F-18 aircraft parts for Rohr Inc in Riverside County. She also worked for the U.S. Naval Station for many years.

Those know know Jane, know her as a kind, caring and giving person. She was an amazing mother who always put her family's needs before her own. She always made time to help Adrian with homework or to be a shoulder to cry on. Jane was a strong woman of faith who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she's touched.

A funeral service for Jane will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Rose of Lima, 293 H Street, Chula Vista, CA 91910. Burial to be held at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Dr, San Diego, CA 92122 on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 12:00 PM.
