You Were such a good person. It'll be sad without you in this world.

Will always love you bro! I cant comprehend how much my family will miss you. I will never forget the day I met you at my uncles house, such a kind and talented person. You always strived for great things while never forgetting who you are and where you’re from. I wish that most of all we may find justice and peace in the wake of such a terrible loss. Love you man. Kuya Joey, 

Since the beginning you've always watched over me, not like my older cousin, but like my big brother. In all of my memories with you, you were always smiling, laughing, teasing me. Carrying me, hugging me, or holding my hand. Even with our age difference you always played nicely with me, you were sooo patient with me, and always showed your love to me. 

I'll never forget the time you carried me on your back as we walked around the neighborhood and showed me off to all your friends, or the times we played video games and you ended up playing with both controllers only to let me win because I was too young to know what I was doing haha. 

The countless times we sang duet on "I Believe I Can Fly" and "I'll Make Love to You"....we never got tired of it. Another one of my favorites was when you and my sisters spent the night, then when my parents were asleep, you woke me up and snuck me downstairs so we could all watch Spongebob together....we all got caught.

As I look back and really think about it, all of my greatest memories from age 1-5 include you. It hurts me so much, but I guess you're just watching over me in a different way now.

Thank you for always believing in me, and I love you forever, more than you could even imagine.

    To have you as a nephew was the greatest blessing of all. I’m going to miss the calls to talk when you where upset. And the ones just to say”what’s up uncle”. I’m so sad that we didn’t get to see each other once more, but we each have a piece of you in our hearts. You were like a big brother to Boo & the girls. We had a lot of fun and have many great memories. When we picked you up, you’d often tell us about your lil brother and sister, and you always looked forward to seeing them when we’d drop you off. I always smile when I think of the time I downloaded pictures off my camera and found out you boys did a photo shoot. While I was asleep, you two got the keys to my new truck and took pictures in it like you were driving. (I always wondered if you drove it around the block or not.) LOL I thought to myself “these boys...and laughed”.  You had the biggest happiest smile and I can hear you over my shoulder saying “I’m good Auntie”. Rest in peace Joey...we love you and will miss you always.

You had a heart as big as your smile. You grew up a fine young man that loved his family and kids. You had so much generosity with everyone that you knew. I don't doubt for a moment that you are being a Guardian Angel for your beautiful girls and everyone you loved. Joey was & is my best friend. Joey was & is my 1st born nephew.  When I talked to Joey, I  sometimes had to question myself, am I the uncle or the nephew in the middle of our conversation.  We we talked, I had to remind Joey that I am the uncle, and you are the nephew.  LOL. We all are going to miss you Joey. We love you so much. Damm Joey. Why you leave us so soon. You always looked out for me as kids and I did the same for you.  You were wild ,fun,  and adventurous and I swear there was nothing you couldn't do.  Your were my bestfriend, wing man,  and  just a man when I needed advice.  The way you matured, grew,  and changed made me proud how you came up in life!  You have two beautiful girls, who will always know their father's love.  Who will forever feel your warmth, as you shine down on us from above.  Rest easy Jojo.  You will truly be missed. I wish had taken a picture with you out of all the years we’ve known each other. There’s probably one buried in the archives somewhere. The energy you brought can last each person you touched a lifetime. I’m heartbroken that I’ll never be able to see you or hear your voice again or hear that laugh that made everyone else laugh. You are the best big brother anyone can ask for. I’m going to go hard as you would tell me to do. I love you and miss you big bro. Until we meet again.

You were always there for me growing up. If there was anything I needed I knew I could go to my big cousin. Every weekend I wanted you around and would beg my mom to pick you up so you could stay the night or if I could stay over at your house.  I remember when you got the red rooster and would come pick me up from my mom's to when you stayed over the house almost all summer and we would be up playing the game all night. One time we played warriors and beat it like 10 times in one week.  We was like the army of two. Trust me I'll never forget when you carried me on your shoulder and put my halloween mask on and scared the mess out of my sister Trina. Lol. I looked up to you and always wanted to be like my big cousin joey.  We have so, so, soooooo many great memories and it hurts that you are gone. You definitely will never be forgotten in my heart cuzzo. I love you. You went down as a great like nip said because you made a positive impact on so many lives.  Rest in paradise.  I'll see you again one day. 

To my dearest cousin my sweet sweet spirited cousin , everywhere you went you shined, and when you were present  it was always love and warmth , you loved so hard , you were a protector and you never played when it came to me and Claire or shall I say your porchop (her nickname )  I will miss all of the times we shared from the sand box until now , the jokes the laughter , the petty arguments , the tears , the adventures neither one of us had any business going on as kids :)  I will miss you tellin me cousin we are made to be something and you rooting for me and Claire . I will miss your smiles and your lil pranks , I also will miss your loving meals you used to chef up , but most of all I’ll miss you , what was that cousin? It was love at first sight, and you were the love of my life. You touched every single life you came into contact with and left a lasting impact. You were so full of life and an amazing, loving spirit. You adored your two girls and made it your life goal to be the best father any man could ever possibly be. Your family was your passion and meant everything to you and you shouted it to the rooftops and always made an effort to show it. Baby, you were my world and blessed me with a piece of you that i will forever be grateful for.
