Oh My dearest Grandpa..... I miss you so much right now.  You have been on my mind and heart.... 

You have been one of my closest friends for all my life.  I have always had you in my corner, giving me the best advice.  My world was so much bigger with you in it,  so full of laughter and learning.  I have so much to be grateful for.  We had so many wonderful memories together.  As I look back over my life that is something that I have never regretted.  I never missed an opportunity to spend time with you, and my heart was rewarded by that.  You were a wonderful man John Crane, Grandpa Phil.  I will hold you deep in my heart always.  I feel you close to me now, as I always have.  I love you Grandpa... That smile, that laugh, those hugs.  Those times that we talked well into the night.  The endless time taking Selfies!  I was the luckiest girl!  No one else enjoyed selfies with me as much as you! I will cherish every one of those forever! I miss you Grandpa.  The love that you showed my children, the example that you gave them... I am forever grateful.  I have had a best friend my entire life, and it was my Grandpa... I am one lucky girl! 
Rest Easy now... you have earned that.  I love you! 

John Phillip Crane took his last earthly breath on December 31, 2019.
 He is survived by his older brother, Robert Crane and by his three beloved daughters; Merle L. (Micki) Gangbin, Terri L.  Carty and Suzanne M.  Zielinski.
Phil (as he was most known by) also had eight grandchildren that he loved dearly - Brendon DeMuth, Dawn Anne Elletson, Tamera DeMuth Austin, Joshua DeMuth, Lisa Carty Stivers, Wendi Carty Phillips, Andrew Zielinski and Zoe Zielinski.  He was a great grandpa to 19 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. He loved them all and each one felt uniquely special when in his presence. 
Phil was like that with his family and with people in general....... he made you feel special. He took the time to listen intently and you knew that he genuinely cared. His laugh was contagious, hearty, and unforgettable!
