Coming to America, Jonathan De Guzman had intentions to achieve the American Dream. After various attempts to find a career he found his calling as a San Diego police officer. He first started working with the Mid-City Patrol, but later was able to join the Gang Suppression Team. On top of that he was also able to achieve one of his life-long dreams to be apart of the San Diego SWAT.
Jonathan was known for being charismatic and an ambitious character and, he was able to inspire others to always strive for more and to never settle. Not only that, he was also someone that people felt as ease to confide in.
Everything he did was with the intention to do good and to have a positive influence. Besides being involved with public service for sixteen years, Jonathan was also a caring husband to Mary Jane, and an inspirational father to his eldest son Jonathan II and daughter Amira De Guzman.
