Tio Jose we miss you very much, your kindness your strength and big heart.

Tio it’s very hard to forget you! Growing up you were always around. Today you were remembered in our Thanksgiving Mass 

Yo quiero que me entregue mi tío José en mi boda (mi papá ya había muerto) eso le dije a mi mamá cuando decidí casarme; de mi tío José solo tengo bellos recuerdos, alegre,  siempre diciendo chistes etc… pero cuando te tenía que regañar también lo hacía. 
Gracias tío por los bellos recuerdos que me quedaron de mi feliz infancia, gracias por acompañarnos haciendo el dolor un poco más ligero cuando murió mi papá, la última vez que te vi me dijiste que nunca te habías recuperado de su muerte, ahora están juntos todos allá en el cielo, te mando un beso y hasta siempre.

It was my pleasure to know Mr Zaizar.  I am grateful that I was able to assist him while in the hospital.  Every time I went to see him he gave me the biggest smile.  It was an honor to share in his birthday festivities.  May God bless and keep the family during these challenging times.

The eulogy I read to my family,  In honor of my grandpa. 

Joe (Dad) welcomed me into the family with open arms when Gilda and I married. Throughout the years we went on vacations, worked on projects, and of course did some painting. When we visited him one of his enjoyments was playing Canasta. He will be missed. And like you always told me “No Deposit,  No Returns”. Rest in peace.

Thank you for the life you gave me.

Teaching me how to be a man.  How to do things by myself, fix things, ride bicycles, drive cars, change tires, change light bubs, paint, play dominoes, play canasta, play pool, etc.  You always treated my with love and respect.  I will always treasure the moments we had together like when you took me to my 1st baseball game or fixing cars; those were awesome times.  You were always there when I needed you.  I will truly, truly miss you. 

Thank you again for everything you taught me, for loving me, but most of all for being my Pop!!!!

I’ll always remember his joy, his jokes and all the teachings you gave me. Rest In Peace uncle José.

I have the privilege to spend a little time with Don Jose at the hospital . what a wonderful sweet person.  I send my love to the lovely wife . ♥️. 

My childhood had great memories of our families being together in L.A. 
or in San Diego. I was very proud & selfish that my Godparents were around unlike my sibling's Godparents and I didn't want to share both of you. As I grew older we drifted away but I made sure to send you both a Christmas card & let you know how much I loved you both. I will always remember you having change in your pocket😉.
Nino, you were a great person and you will be tryly missed. You will always have a special place in my heart.
