Resident of San Diego, CA and Lemoore, CA. Julian passed away peacefully at Paradise Valley Hospital. He was born in San Narciso Zambales, Philippines and in 1976 came to The United States where he was petitioned by his eldest son.
Julian, one of five siblings, was born to the late Eustaqio and Arcadia Alaysa. Growing up, that was his only family, but on August 20, 1944, he started his new family by marrying Flocerfina Rabang and they have been together for over 65 years and forever more to come. Julian will always be remembered by his beloved children Eddie Alaysa Sr., Dominga Taripe, Amado Alaysa, Andy Alaysa Sr., Evylinda Begay, Theresita Alaysa, Emalyn Reith, Cynia Fonseca, Julian Alaysa Jr., and Ramon Alaysa Sr. However, Julian didn’t expect to come to America and have more kids in his life that simply adored him. Not only did he have a plethora grandchildren: Florcerfida Boloron, Isidro Taripe Sr., Benjiman Taripe Jr., JodyMarie Vasquez, Eddie Alaysa Jr., Joenar Alaysa, Michael Alaysa, Juwel Alaysa, George Taripe, Francisco Alaysa, Amado Alaysa Jr., David Reith, Donald Omler III, MilaFlor Fonseca, JulieRose Alaysa, Flordelena Alaysa, Julian Alaysa III, Valerie Fonseca, Lorelyn Ruiz, Andy Alaysa Jr., Mathew Omler, Jason Reith, Anthony Alaysa, Rachel Joy Alaysa, Ramon Alaysa Jr., Jeremy Alaysa, Francis Alaysa, Eddie Alaysa III, and Princess Alaysa, but he also cherished his numerous great-grandchildren Kaylana Marie Alaysa, Dojie Mar Taripe, Benjilyn Taripe, Maybell Taripe, Joshua Taripe, Isidro Taripe Jr., Jennifer Taripe, Jayar Taripe, Joan Taripe, Jonathan Taripe, Marco Antonio Vasquez, Alexis Rene Vasquez, Mina Julianna Shields, Kyle Alaysa, Christian Jasper Alaysa, John Michael Alaysa, Jayden Feliciano, Jezza AnnMarie Tamayo, SummerLyn Reith, Jasmine Taripe, Aileen Alaysa, John Michael Alaysa, Johanna Michelle Alaysa, Francis Jay Alaysa, Cassandra Alaysa, MJ Alaysa, Paul Alaysa, SkyLee Reith, Damian Reith, Brooklyn Ruiz, Daniel Jason Omler, Carter Joseph Ruiz, Kyla Alaysa, and Slater Reith; along with the countless number of other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.
Besides spending all of his love on his grandchildren, Julian had other passions that included cooking, playing mahjong, dancing, and listening to country music. However, he loved nothing more than to do all of those things with his family and friends. He was a very hard working family man who demonstrated an outstanding work ethic with employers such as San Miguel Brewery, Victory Liner, a private Jeepnee driving client, Armona Yarn Factory, Gradco, and a Veteran of WWII. He kept this reputation until the day of his death by always trying to get in on the hard labor even when his grandsons were big enough to take care of things. In assurance to make sure all of his kids were fed, he would always ask “Pizza?” to engage a reaction from the family. Then he would unselfishly provide the money for the food. He was known for his independency on EVERYTHING and ANYTHING, determined that he needed no help. Although he was a stubborn man and didn’t budge on anything, he was moved by the unconditional love all of his 73 children gave him, but they only reflected the same love he gave all of them.
