Karen Lynn Falcon

Born in New Hampshire on July 29, 1959, Karen grew up alongside her sister and three brothers. She was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews and treasured the relationships she shared with her family throughout her life.

After serving in the United States Navy, Karen made San Diego her home for most of her adult life. She continued her dedication to serving others by working as a civilian for the Navy for 37 years. Her life was defined by resilience, courage, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to the people around her.

Karen had a heart for helping others. She was caring, selfless, and always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need or offer comfort to someone in pain. She gave of herself freely and never hesitated to be there for the people she loved. Her kindness and compassion touched many lives, and her presence brought comfort and warmth to those around her.

Family was at the center of Karen’s world. She was an amazing mother, Nana, and mother-in-law, and her grandson meant everything to her. She loved her son deeply, and the two shared a special bond in which they were a source of strength and support for one another. She also cared deeply for her daughter-in-law, and welcomed her into the family with the same love, kindness, and caring spirit she gave to those closest to her.

Karen also had a deep love for her dogs, especially her beloved Lola, as well as her family dogs, Neo and Mr. Mosby. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, taking scenic walks with family, friends, and her dogs. She also loved crafts and looked forward to attending craft and hobby events, where she could enjoy her creativity and the simple pleasures she loved.

Those who knew Karen will remember her for her loving spirit, her generous heart, her courage, and the way she cared so deeply for others. She was resilient, loving, caring, hardworking, and courageous—but above all, she was someone who made people feel loved and supported.

Karen leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through her son, daughter-in-law, grandson, siblings, nieces and nephews, extended family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely will remain with those who were fortunate enough to know her.
