I met Larry in the 70's at the Rotor Blade Shop at North Island .We were close friends at the time and  hung out a lot .He was a lot of fun and easy going we lost contact in the 80's but I never forgot what a great friend he was I regret not keeping in touch with Larry I miss the great times we had. 

Larry was a great friend and co-worker.  I am glad we have crossed paths and it was a pleasure working with him as his financial analyst for the PBL programs.  It was never a dull moment…good times, good laughs and good memories.  Can’t forget he was also in charge of our coffee mess (if it’s still there).  :) Aloha and Rest in Paradise my friend!! You are loved and missed! 

I worked with Larry for many years at North island We worked right next to each other for many years he was a great mentor to me and he helped me in my career I would not be where I'm at today without his help and friendship

I always enjoyed working with Larry.  A genuinely warm and friendly man with the heart of a lion.  You will be missed my friend.

I worked with Larry for many years and I am Blessed that he was in my life.  He truly was a good friend.  When we were in meetings together we always played good cop, bad cop.  I was always the bad cop because no one would believe Larry as the bad half of the duo.  I will miss our talks, our laughs together and the guidance he gave me  at work and life in general.  I am truly heartbroken for his family.  He and his family are in my family's prayers.  I miss you and love you my brother.

Larry was there for me to cool the situation down when I got under someone's skin. He was a great person to have on your side and was nice to talk to about anything. We all will miss him! REST IN PEACE LARRY!!!!!!!!

Larry was the embodiment of one of my favorite poems. I am ever grateful to have known and  worked with Larry in the recent year, he will be greatly missed by his FRCSW family.

Larry, the kind of guy that it was always a pleasure to be in his presence, always a smile for you and anyone around.  Larry, always gentle an sincere, the kind of person this world needs many more of. Lewis family your hearts must be so heavy and sad to lose such a wonderful person. Larry, and me work together since 1995. If you knew this man then you know his passing creates a great void in the lives of family, relatives, friends, and co-workers.

Larry and I have worked together for many years at North Island (FRCSW). Besides a co-worker, he was my friend, the kind of friend that anyone is proud to have. His smile and laugh will forever be in my memory! Rest easy in paradise Larry, I will miss you!

Even though I can't place names with the faces as a Christian we all are our brother's keeper. I am sure he was a wonderful caring person who all shared fond memories with at work and home. May God bring comfort to the family in the way he does to have had his presence for 66 years. Another soldier for the Lord gained, yet an angel lost to this world as we know it. Rest in Peace!

Larry was more than a colleague at North Island.  He was my friend.  We meet back in 1985 when I started working at the depot. We both worked in the Rotor Blade shop, from there we both moved into the hydraulic shop and were STS/EHV operators.
Larry and I would share family stories together,  while working long days, 10-12 hrs.  Family,  dedication to work and friendships is what defined his character.  Over the years our career paths excelled in different directions,  yet somehow we always ended working together.  His welcoming smile and kindness will be missed.  Our working dynamics were uncanny.  Larry and I read each other's thoughts many times, while working together, that's how close our bond was.
You will always be in my thoughts my friend and I will miss you.
