I wanted to add a few words to the photo I sent in earlier. Please forgive my pervious addition. I took this photo the day of mourning. I am not a California native and I saw Mr. Yates and his friends talking and enjoying their day with the waves, the ocean breeze, and the simple but magnificent noises of the beach...I thought it was a perfect moment in time I wanted to keep forever to remember a simple day in Sunny California. In just what seemed like moments later it all changed. I wanted to give this photo to the family and I didn't know how...Please accept this photo and know he was doing something he loved and he was with friends...God Bless all....

I'm deeply saddened to hear of Larry's passing. I went to school with Larry and he was always such a sweet boy with a smile for everyone. My heartfelt prayers are with the entire family. God bless.

My condolences to his Family. Larry and I went to Rosebank Elementary together. I sat next to him in one of our classes. He used to tease me but in a nice way! Taken too young! God takes the good ones.

Vanessa, Larry will be greatly missed. His love of Scouting and working with my son is something we will always remember. How proud he was when Teddy made Eagle. As Teddy and I talked we remembered how excited he was the day he graduated from the Sherrif's Academy, we were so happy we could be there for him on that special day. May God hold you in His loving embrace until you get to walk by Larry's side again. All of our love and prayers Debora and Teddy Ritch

Our sincerest sympathies go to Vanessa, Kathy & family, and Mr & Mrs Yates. We didn't know Larry as well as the rest of the family (knew him orginally as Kathy & I talked about our big brothers) but he sure seemed like a really good man. We care deeply for your entire family and wish you God's peace to sustain you. Love you, from Chelly & George Wathen & Shirlee Bolger
