

Leticia "Letty" Ereno Tulao was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Leticia will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
Leticia was born on February 21, 1939 in the Philippines, the daughter of Gregoria Alicdan and Sotero Ereno. Leticia was raised in Cavite, Philippines, with one sibling, her sister Norma. Leticia was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her sister and they shared many life experiences over the years.
A typical teenager, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood, Leticia graduated from Mapua Institute of Technology in 1956. Leticia enjoyed her college years, which may have been a challenge with all of the academics, responsibilities, and the sudden freedom that accompanied them, but Leticia was able to manage the balancing act. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Far Eastern University in 1960.
On November 8, 1968 Leticia exchanged wedding vows with Rustico Tulao in San Diego, California. Empathetic and loyal, Leticia was committed to making her new family happy. While everything a person does in life contributes to who they grow into, it is ultimately this same person who holds the most influence on the next generation. Leticia was blessed with two sons, Rusty Junn and Rodney. Leticia worked hard to be a good mother to her sons and she did her best to fulfill their needs, raising them in a positive and nurturing environment. Another blessing for Leticia was the gift of three grandchildren, Chloe, Kaden and Cheska.
How a person performs in the workplace can be a reflection on how they live their life. Fortunately, Leticia enjoyed what she did for a living. Her primary occupation was as a Registered Nurse for 53 years. Showing a strong work ethic, Leticia worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career. Leticia's memorable achievements included raising two kids while working and being a dedicated grandma of three. Leticia enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. She loved shopping, and was content to enjoy her favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share her interests with others.
Leticia passed away on August 5, 2016 at her home in Chula Vista, California, due to cancer. She is survived by her husband Rustico Tulao, her son Rusty Junn Tulao, her son Rodney Tulao, her daughter-in-law Gina Tulao, her daughter-in-law Michelle Tulao, her granddaughter Chloe Tulao, her grandson Kaden Tulao and her granddaughter Francheska Tulao.
Services were handled by Glen Abbey Mortuary. A Visitation was held at the Glen Abbey Mortuary Chapel in Bonita, California on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service officiated by Chaplain Rick Rojas, was held at Glen Abbey Mortuary Chapel in Bonita, California on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 10:00 am. A Reception followed the services at VIP Oriental Buffet, 542 Broadway, Chula Vista, California on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Leticia was laid to rest in Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California on Wednesday August 17, 2016.
Simply stated, Leticia was a good and kind person, an individual who will, for all time, be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person. Someone who was a vital part of their lives. Leticia leaves behind the legacy of her loving family, life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember her.
