We have been so blessed to be able to attend many celebrations with this lovely, kind lady. Her smiling face was a permanent fixture at many birthday parties. The kids grew up seeing her at Grandparents Day and lots of parties over the years. She was so very loved and will be missed. Her legacy lives on in the kindness of her children and grandchildren.

Ate Lina was my sister and best friend.  I will miss our conversations the most. We enjoyed going to the amc theatre to watch Filipino movies. Ate, thank you for always being there for me. For showing my family and I unconditional love and support. I love and miss you. Rest In Peace. 

Ninang Lina was a close friend of my late mother, and she was also my sister Theresa’s godmother.  Whenever we came down from Ventura County to visit San Diego, She always made us feel welcome.  Her hospitality and friendship will never be forgotten.

I am honored to write a few words about my Auntie Lina.Auntie Lina was a cheerful, fun-loving lady who was full of life.Her smile & laughter could light up a room & it was infectious.She made everyone around her happy. So I must simply put into words about Auntie, as they are not only self-explanatory but they say it all for me. Auntie Lina was, to me, all of these: warm, gentle, cheery, generous of spirit, patient, loving, clever, determined, & diplomatic.To tell you the truth, most of my happy memories of my Auntie Lina also involve my Uncle Oscar.They were inseparable. And even after Uncle Oscar passed away, the bond of their love remained unbreakable.Anyone who observed the two of them together knew how much they loved one another.  They didn’t send each other love poetry.Nor was their love such that they never disagreed or got on one another’s nerves.I just remember the two had intense political discussions with their differing views but later the two of them would end up laughing together.The picture I got of their marriage was of a couple who were flowing in the same direction & they did this their entire married life! Jesus Christ was the foundation on which she built her life and all her hope.Not only is she with the Lord, she’s also with Uncle Oscar & all her other loved ones who died believing in Jesus. She would want us to know that those happy reunions for which she so longed, have taken place & are still taking place & will keep taking place eternally.
Auntie Lina was passionate about our family.  She would always listen to one of us, too, whenever we had something to say or share. She was committed to & interested in all of her nieces’, nephews’,Manong Brian's &Ate Cat's , &grandchildrens’ lives,hobbies, &passions. 
Auntie Lina, you were an all-around loving, spirited, & strong soul who will surely be loved &missed for the rest of our our lives. Rest well, Auntie Lina.We will carry you forever in our hearts.We love you!  Love, Marivic, Javier and Toby

It was a pleasure and honor to know and spend time with Lina when we were in San Diego. She was a gracious lady who emanated kindness at all times.  She was a wonderful grandmother and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
