Lloyd J. Patterson

In 1957, Lloyd met his future bride Jannie Melton and the two united in matrimony the following year. Together they relocated to San Diego, California, where Lloyd served his country in the United States Navy. Throughout this union, Lloyd and Jannie would have two children Bobbie and Jacque.

Over the past few years Lloyd survived and fought his was through a number of health issues. His bravery, strength and courage stood with him till his last day February 3rd, 2016.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jannie Patterson, two daughters Bobbie Trotter and Jacqueline Patterson, son-in-law Eddie Trotter. Three grandchildren Sharunne (Milton) Foster, Harold Trotter and Jonte Patterson. Three great-grandchildren Xavier, Logan and Gavin Foster. Eight siblings including half sister Claudia Mae Cope, Clarence (Mary) Patterson, Reginald (Teriyln) Patterson, Geneva (Clarence) Patterson, Dorothy (Perry) Kelly, Charles Patterson, Elaine Frenchie (Ralph) Edwards, Thomas Patterson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.

Lloyd will be reunited in Heaven with his loving Parents, his younger siblings Johnnie Mae Patterson and Timothy Patterson, and his great-granddaughter Olivia Foster who preceded him in death
