

Loreto C. Vasquez was born on December 10th, 1937. He first greeted the world in the Philippines. His parents' names were Honesto C. Vasquez and Amparo Cayas. He was raised in Naic, Cavite with four siblings named Cecilio, Federico, Marina and Esther. He attended and graduated from CCA in 1954.
As a young man, Loreto met and fell in love with his sweetheart, Salud Trinidad. The two exchanged wedding vows on October 27th, 1962. They had a civil ceremony in Rosario, Cavite, Philippines. With empathetic and loyal hearts, the two shared many loving years of marriage.
While everything a person does in life contributes to who they grow into, it is ultimately this same person who holds the most influence on the next generation. Loreto was blessed with four children, three daughters named Emalyn, Marlyn and Losalyn and one son named Michael. He worked hard toward raising his children in a positive and nurturing environment. Loreto worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs.
Later in life, Loreto was blessed with the joy of eight grandchildren, LJ, Marcial, MJ, Isaac, Elijah, Lorenzo, Mikey and Merchael.
Fortunately, Loreto enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Loreto worked diligently and did his best to succeed in each of his jobs. While he worked several jobs over his life, Loreto’s most recent occupation was working in Civil Service which he was devoted to for eighteen years. Loreto had also enlisted in The United States Navy and after serving his career of 20 years, he retired with the final rank of Chief E-7.
Loreto enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in a number of different activities, including collecting stamps and coins. Like all people, Loreto had his favorite things in life. A few of these favorite things were watching movies and spending time with his family, especially his wife Salud.
Being involved in organizations, was also a very important aspect of Loreto's life. While in the Philippines, Loreto was a very active member of the Masonry.
On May 2nd, 2011, Loreto C. Vasquez passed away at Paradise Valley Hospital in National City, California due to cardiac arrest. He is survived by his loving wife Salud; his children and their spouses Emalyn and Luther, Marlyn and Orlando, Losalyn and Martius, Michael and Merlyn; his sisters Marina and Ester; his grandchildren LJ, Marcial, MJ, Isaac, Elijah, Lorenzo, Mikey and Merchael; as well as many other loved ones and friends. A Funeral Service was held for Loreto on May 11, 2011 at The Little Chapel of the Roses. Loreto was laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
