One of the fond memory I have of you, Uncle, is you would make the drive to Murphy Canyon almost every other weekend to either pick me up or drop off Malou!  Let's not forget the drive to Spectrum, Plaza Bonita, and all the weekends we went to an amusement park. 

I always looked forward to spending the weekend at your house, kasi po masayang masaya! 🙂 oh and siyempre let's not forget the mass every Sunday.  

Back then I didn't know how far the drive was from National City but that didn't detain you from giving Malou one of the happiest times in her life. This is because you're a loving, generous Dad and also because you wanted the best for both Auntie and Malou.

Salamat po Uncle for accepting me in your home and treating me as your 2nd daughter. Love you po! You will be missed,Uncle.

Your kindness was overflowing and you shared it with everyone. I will miss everything about you. You gave so much to everyone without ever asking for anything in return. 
You were more than an Uncle to me, you were like my second Dad. You gave me a lot of advice and life lessons that I hold on to to this day. Thank you for always believing in me and making me feel worthy. 
Our hearts are broken that you are gone, but I know you will always be watching us and guiding us.

It was October 11, cousin Louie's birthday.  Rey and went to their house with a balloon and some siopaos instead of cake.  Siopao reminds us of Auntie Coring.  After some stories and news around, we said our goodbyes.  We embraced each other.  Don't know why we were both in tears. Likely tears of joy and happiness we were still alive and able to share our love and concern for one another.

On behalf of the Buna siblings, we are sending our condolences and loving thoughts and concern to the bereaved family of Kuya Louie.
Kuya Rene (Rey) and Ate Norma were  like siblings to Kuya Louie.
