

Manuel Meza Bravo, lovingly known as Meño, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, at the age of 84 in San Diego, California. He was born on November 2, 1940, in Tijuana, Baja California, and immigrated to California at the age of 19 to build a life filled with hard work, love, and family.
Manuel worked for many years as a sales counterman for Western Metal Company and in commercial and residential plumbing. He also proudly owned and operated a landscaping business, where his love for working outdoors truly shined. His home garden was always beautifully kept, and his yard was never without his favorite flower — roses.
Above all, Manuel loved his family deeply. He was a devoted husband, father, Tata, and Great Tata, known for his generosity, warmth, and strong work ethic. His presence will forever be missed by all who had the blessing of knowing him.
Manuel is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Luisa Bravo; his daughters, MariaElena Bravo and Elizabeth Torres; and his grandchildren, Ana Marie Bellini, David Castillo Jr., Maritza Hernandez-Bravo, Eduardo Manuel Torres, Esteban Torres, and Estefanie Lizette Torres. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Jacob Ezekiel Castillo, Gabriel Allen Bellini, and Sebastian Manuel Bellini. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Maria Luisa Bravo.
Services will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Glen Abbey Memorial Park & Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Rd., Bonita, California:
• Closed Casket Visitation: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Chapel of Roses)
• Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.
Manuel’s life was one of love, faith, and family — a legacy that will continue to bloom like the roses he tended with care.
