

Marcelino N. Telmo was born to Leoncio & Petra Telmo in Dayne, Philippines on October 2, 1933. He had 12 siblings. The Telmo family ran a successful rice, coffee & peanut mill and started one of the very first Marching Bands in Cavite City.
Marcelino and Josefina met while attending elementary school. Josefina was in the 5th grade and Marcelino was in the 6th grade. They both attended Indang Rural High school where they danced their first dance to “The Tennessee Waltz”.
Marcelino joined the Navy on September 8th 1954 and served 21 years. He was an Officer's cook in the Navy. This is where Marcelino’s love of food & cooking began. Marcelino had many interests. He loved music from the 60’s, Marching Band music & instrumental music. He also loved to build things, gardening and working on cars. He eventually built the home he lived for 37 years.
Marcelino & Josefina were married on October 19th, 1958 in Indang, Cavite. Marcelino & Josefina eventually settled in California.
Marcelino loved to help people and was a very giving & generous man. In addition to providing for his family, he supported many individuals and families who emigrated from the Philippines, to establish their own foundations to become successful here in the USA.
Marcelino & Josefina has three children - Josielyn, Grace & Joseph and a son in law, Barry Johnson. In their 58 years of marriage , he has become a grandfather to 5 grand kids - Courtney 22, Aleksandria 20, Mitchell 17, Madison 15 and Niklas 12.
