Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.glenabbeysandiego.net for the Perez family.
Luisa was born in the State of Jalisco to Guadalupe Fregoso and Maria Luisa Garcia De Leon. Luisa was born to sing, and was endowed with a beautiful voice; she loved music especially "Musica de Mariachi y Rancheras". As a teenager, she moved to Tijuana, Mexico, and became enamored by Hollywood and Elvis Presley. She would reminisce about her collection of Elvis 45s and the evenings spent listening to them with her cousins. Luisa loved telling stories of her and her sibling's childhood in Mexico. Reminiscing over good and tough times, passing on memories that we will always cherish.
Her interests included spending time with her children and grandchildren, eating at Chinese food buffets, watching telenovelas and Spanish variety shows, collecting antique dolls, costume jewelry, and hunting for treasures at thrift stores. She loved chihuahuas and canaries, her favorite canary would sing along with her, filling our home with sweet melodies in the morning.
She is a beloved mother and grandmother, we will miss her humor, blunt honesty, and the amazing food she would prepare for us.
Luisa is survived by her two daughters, Sandra, and Lorena Perez; her son Rodolfo Perez and his wife Stacy; two granddaughters Jasmine Perez and Sabrina Charles; five grandsons Isaiah Charles, Joshua Charles, Nathan Charles, Christian Perez, Michael Perez, and his wife Kaylee; and her beloved great-grandpets Buddy, Tokyo, Biscuit, Moon, and Star.
