

Marilyn Burton Speakman passed away December 25, 2011, in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. She was born in Panguich, Utah on July 15, 1933. Marilyn was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, graduated from West High School in 1952. As a military wife she lived in numerous areas throughout the U.S. She married Edwin G. Speakman May 15, 1982.
She is survived by her loving husband, six children, Kit Garcia, Rob (Patsy) Jasmund, Blaine (Connie) Jasmund, Bonny (Dan) Flood, Donald (Yolanda) Jasmund, Tina (Billy) O'Connell, all of San Diego, CA, five step children, E.G. Speakman, Theresa Cross, Christine Meadows, Michael Speakman, David (Colleen) Speakman, all of various areas, twenty-two grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Ben (Suzanne) Burns in Santa Barbara, California, and two sisters, Ann Denece Robinson of Nephi, Utah and Jaqulin (Daniel) Holley of Newton, New Jersey.
She had many friends where ever she lived. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and known to many as "Mom".
Services will be held Saturday January 7, 2012, at 1:00 PM at Eastlake Church, 990 Lane Avenue, Chula Vista, California. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association or The Wounded Warriors Association in her name.
