Mario Guerro Adamos passed away on July 4th, 2020 at 0400 at the age of 77 years old. After years of gradual failing health, Mr. Mario Adamos passed away peacefully at Stanford Court Nursing Center in Santee, California.
Mario Adamos was born on April 21st 1943 in La Paz San Narciso Zambales in the Philippines by Modesto Adamos and Maria Guerro. He was the youngest out of his six siblings. Later in life, he married his beautiful wife Juliana Adamos at St. Joseph Church in Olongpo City, Philippines on June 15 1972. He was blessed with five children, Menchie Adamos, Maria Paz Aquino, Mario Adamos Jr. , Majorie Dizon, and Marco Jay Adamos. Mario Adamos and his wife raised their children to be respectful followers of God, studious members of society, and passionate individuals in life. His kind heart and endlessly gracious manner is lived through by his grandchildren as well; Marlon Aquino, Desiree Adamos, Mikayla Aquino, Matthew Aquino, and Denalyn Adamos.
Early in his life, Mario Adamos graduated with a bachelor's degree in education in 1967 and worked several occupations. He worked in the engineering department in Olongapo City and on the Subic Naval Base in the Clerk transportation department. When Mario Adamos and his family migrated to the United States in November of 1995, he continued to work in San Diego, California through multiple occupations as part of an electronic assembler production company. He retired from being a job coach at the Arc Of San Diego, which focused primarily on attending to individuals with disabilities.
Mario Adamos was a good father and husband and continued to cherish his children and grandchildren the rest of his life. His friends and family refer to him as “Mang Mar,” and could always rely on him to bring light, positivity, laughter, and benevolent energy in their lives. Mario Adamos loved his grandchildren as much as he loved his own children, often teasing them and filling their hearts with laughter and love.
Mario Adamos found joy in the simplest things in life, from gambling to watching sports from the comfort of his home with a beer by his side. You could often see him listening to his favorite music on his iPod and he even attended the concerts of Paul Anka, Anglebert Humperdinck, and Air Supply.
Even as his health gradually depleted, his love for his family and his benevolence remained strong. Often, his family members would visit him in his nursing home to have lunch with him, to talk with him, and to play a game of cards with him. Every hug, touch of the hand, and kiss that Mario Adamos shared with his family members remains in their hearts, even when he has passed away and joined the Lord in heaven. Truly, Mario Adamos was adored by many and loved by all that he knew. He was a strong, ambitious, and compassionate man that will continue to live on in our hearts forever.
