Mariquitalinda Roberts – “Kit” – was born on January 16th, 1970 to John T. Campbell (Deceased) and Helen Campbell (deceased) in Olongapo, Philippines. Her father served in the NAVY and when he got stationed to San Diego Naval Base, Kit and her family followed.
Growing up in beautiful San Diego, Kit graduated from Montgomery High School class of 1988. As for college, she graduated from San Diego State University with a B.S. in Biology and she is a certified registered nurse. With her qualifications, she set her mind on becoming a Loan Processor. Kit met her husband Jamus in San Diego in 2011 and they married on May 30, 2013 in San Diego.
Kits favorite pursuits were cooking, weekend getaways, family time and she loved to travel. Throughout the years fishing became one of her most rewarding hobbies and if she could she would be out there every chance she had. Every adventure she went on was a beautiful experience but Mexico was one of her favorite destinations to unwind. Kit was a Raider fan, she was a member of the Raider Nation. She had a very fun-loving and bubbly personality, full of life and energy and you couldn’t miss her warm spirit. If you came to her house she made you feel like family, cooking and hosting; making you feel comfortable. She had the ability to light up any room she entered. She would tell it like it is in the nicest way possible, which we loved about her. She genuinely cared about others. She loved her family and her friends dearly.
Mariquitalinda “Kit”, is survived by her husband Jamus Roberts, her three sons Christopher Campbell, Ahkeel Christian Whitehead, and Elijah Cristobal Whitehead, her two stepdaughters Jacara Roberts, and Antionette Roberts and her granddaughter Kalea Simmons. Kit was a member of New Creations church and had strong religious beliefs.
I have one major rule: Everybody is right! More specifically, everybody including me has some important piece of truth and all of those pieces need to be honored, cherished and included in a more gracious, spacious and compassionate embrace! — Ken Wilber
