Marjorie Ryan, 81, passed away on Sunday, September 8th 2013 after a short illness, in San Diego, CA. She was the widow of Raymond Joseph Ryan. Marjorie was the daughter of the late Louis and Evelyn (Moorhouse) Weber. She leaves three sons: Michael, Kevin, and Timothy. In addition, she leaves a sister, Lois Poissant of Middletown, CT, and a brother, Norman Weber of East Haddam, CT. She was predeceased by her sister Lucille Rayner and Irene Whipple. She leaves many nieces and nephews in Connecticut.
Marjorie grew up in Chester, CT. She met and married Raymond Ryan who was a career marine and followed him to the various places where he was stationed. Raymond's first assignment was to San Diego, CA for a number of years and she fell in love with that city. She also lived in Cincinnati, Ohio and in Morocco. Marjorie worked as a Supervisor at Customs on the Mexican border. She loved going to Las Vegas and Laughlin and was pretty lucky.
