Marte Lumagui Matangga, born on November 11, 1954, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. He was the eldest of five children born to Benito and Victoria Matangga. He had some college courses in the Philippines and retired from Tesla in 2023. Marte was known for his love of cooking and sports, with his favorite team being the San Diego Padres where he while his time away watching either on TV or live at Petco Park with his nieces & nephew after he retired. He was an active member of the GenTri Association of San Diego and Riverside Counties and was admired for his affable personality and jovial attitude. He is survived by brothers Leandro and Roberto and sister Josefina. Marte will be greatly missed by his loved ones.
