Martin Flores

Martin Flores was born on April 15, 1923 in San Sebastian, Jalisco, Mexico to his mother, Ramona Ramirez, and his father, Rosalio Flores. He was raised in Mirandilla, Jalisco about 100 kms from his birthplace. Martin started ranching as a young man in Mirandilla and there he met his wife Susana Pena. They were married in 1951 and gave birth to their first child Rodolfo in 1952. They had eight more children: Rosalio, Jorge, Herminia, Eloisa, Carmen, Cristobal, Martin and Teresa. They lived in Mirandilla for over 45 years until they moved to the U.S. in 1995, where his family currently resides. He enjoyed spending time with 18 grandchildren and 6 great grand kids.

Martin Flores nació el 15 de abril de 1923 en San Sebastián, Jalisco, México. Sus padres fueron Ramona Ramírez y Rosalio Flores. Se crió en Mirandilla, Jalisco, 100 kms de San Sebastián. Muy joven Martin comenzó la ganadería en Mirandilla y allí conoció a su esposa Susana Peña. Se casaron en 1951 y tuvieron su primer hijo Rodolfo en 1952. Con el tiempo tuvieron ocho hijos más: Rosalio, Jorge, Herminia, Eloisa, Carmen, Cristóbal, Martín y Teresa. Vivieron en Mirandilla por más de 45 años hasta que se trasladó a los EE.UU. en 1995, donde su familia residen actualmente. Él disfrutaba pasar el tiempo con 18 nietos y 6 bisnietos.
