

Marvin Sells passed away, too soon, on Monday, July 6th, 2015. Born to Ray Keith Sells and Betty Kunch on February 24th, 1955. He had a happy and healthy childhood. Graduated from Green Mountain High School in 1973, where is started in both baseball and basketball and ran track. He attended Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa and then worked for Fisher Controls until he joined the United States Navy in 1975. He was stationed on the U.S.S. Constellation CV64 IM. 3rd Division 1976 to 1979 and served a total of 22 years active duty and officially retired in 2005. During the latter years of service, Marvin joined the police academy, in which he graduated, but decided not to pursue a Law Enforcement career due to its obvious dangers. He then went to work with San Diego Tee times and then for Sleep Train.
Marvin loved his family greatly. He lived with his wife, Irene, in which he cherished every moment. He had a daughter, Jennifer, who lives in Arizona and works as a Registered Nurse in the home health setting, teaching patients in post hospital acute care situations. He had a grand-daughter, Sara who also lived in Arizona and is 7 years old and loves horses, cats and gymnastics. His Father and family live in Toledo and Des Moines, Iowa. He also supported his Mother-In-Law and her family in Cebu City, Philippines. He will be missed greatly by all of us.
