Mary passed away at Magnolia Guest Home in Chula Vista on New Year’s Day at the age of 90. Mary’s life revolved around devotion to her family, spending many years caring for her parents. She was a dedicated Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Mary leaves behind her brother George Ellis, daughter Adele Fares, grandchildren Lisa Kincaid and husband Jeff, Michelle Scholl and partner Leroy Donaldson, David Fares, Mikhail Canas and wife Tiffany; great grandchildren Ryan, Steven and Travis Kincaid; Sebastian and Greyson Scholl and Nicholas Canas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Canas, her son Michael Canas and her brother Joe Ellis. There will be a Viewing from 10:30 to 11:00 with a Service to follow on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Glen Abbey Chapel of the Roses, Bonita, CA.
