Mary “Sue” Freshour was born in Buffalo New York on May 7, 1937 to Paul and Mary Tuskes. On May 17, 2013 she passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by many loved ones after a brief struggle with cancer. She was a longtime resident of Chula Vista, California, where she touched many lives. Sue was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very artistic and had a passion for creating beautiful things. Her love spread to everyone she touched. Sue will forever be remembered as our guardian angel.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Donald G. Freshour, children, Debbie Alonzo, Bill Fulton, Tammy Espinoza, Lisa McElwain, and Stacy Lytle, and her grandchildren, Ted, Christopher, Tegan, Kyle, Paul, Caleb, and Haley.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28th at Glen Abbey, Little Chapel of the Roses, 3723 Bonita Road, Chula Vista, California. Private reception will be held immediately following.
