Melencia, also known to friends and family as Mely or Meling, is survived by her daughters Victoria Estacio Huckins (Gordon) and Rhea Estacio Manguil (Brandon) all from San Diego, CA. Mely also leaves behind her grandchildren; RG, Sara, Kobe, Kayla, and Kaiden, and her only great grandchild, Shay, to honor her life and memory.
Mely was preceded in death by her husband Juanito Alvarez Estacio; all seven of her siblings; and her parents Arsenia Enriquez Buenviaje and Jose Santo Buenviaje.
A visitation will be held at Glen Abbey Mortuary in the Magnolia Room, located at 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at The Little Chapel of Roses in the Glen Abbey Memorial Park, located at 3600 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902, on January 28, 2026, at 12:30 pm, with a Committal Service immediately following.
